Things are getting intense really quick. Firstly Beauty has shown that she's very much interested in Lerumo and now he's in to her but when she turns and says she doesn't want anything serious, he freaks out and starts getting angry at her. On the other hand, Morena's new lifestyle goes south when a good time with drugs turns very ugly.

It all came crushing down on the da of Mabutho and Nomonde's wedding. While on a high, Zweli received the news that Mabutho is behind the heist and as he was about to arrest him, he found himself in a pool of blood instead. Tebatso visits Poppy after getting a visit from Sarah. He is very upset with Poppy and wants to verify that he is not the father since they were intimate. Poppy insults him, and he then insults her back by saying that he clearly dodged a bullet where she is concerned. He goes on to say that he feels sorry for the baby as it will have to grow up in Poppy's family. Brenda then comes to Poppy's rescue, chases Tebatso out, and comforts Poppy after the encounter.

Khabzela has been going through a tough time trying to prove that he's not the one who murdered Irene. The community has been protesting for his release and even though he appreciate that he wanted to still testify which ended up taking him back to a very sad time in his life when he lost his mother, which made him vulnerable and showed the court that he's nothing close to a killer.
