When Emma's mother Zungazi came back into her life unexpectedly, she didn't come with good intentions but rather to live off of her and get money. This led to them stealing Lindiwe's diamonds and taking it a step further by kidnapping baby Mbali all in the hopes of securing millions. It all ended in tears though when the baby was found and Emma disowning her and the toxic behaviour forever.
