English playwright and poet of the Restoration period put it best when in his play entitled “The Mourning Bride” he wrote: “Heav'n has no rage, like love to hatred turn'd, Nor hell a fury, like a woman scorned".
And Lindiwe couldn't have embodied this phrase any better than in yesterday's episode of The River when she strutted into the Dikana mansion in a jaw-dropping, head-turning and overly dramatic white wedding dress on the morning of Zweli and Gail’s wedding day. Makhulu and Dambisa were at a loss for words and well poor Gail, was obviously upset.

From the time Lindiwe wormed her back into the Dikana residence, she made it crystal clear that she’d do everything in her power to reclaim her title as Mrs Dikana, and if history has thought as anything, it's that Lindiwe will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
She’s tried every possible trick to cause a rift between Zweli and Gail; from using her children as bait to sabotaging Gail’s cooking and even inviting Zweli’s mom and sister to intervene ahead of the wedding. However, all her efforts have fallen short of reeling her ex-husband back into her arms.
And when all else fails, Lindiwe turns to the one thing she knows will give her the outcome she’s after; blood-shed.
Zweli is determined to take Gail as his new wife, but with Lindiwe in the way, will Zweli and Gail's union last? Or should Gail make a run for it before it's too late?
