Last night’s episode of The River left everyone watching a little teary-eyed. It was the day that many were waiting for as Emma and Zolani tied the knot. The intimate wedding was attended by the Dikana and Dlamini families and of course the Refilwe contingent (they never miss out on a good time).
Emma, who was dressed by none other than Orapeleng Modutle, stole many fans’ hearts when she glided down the aisle at Palala Boutique Game Lodge & Spa. Even Zolani who always acts tough, couldn’t hold back his tears when he saw the mother of his child in her gorgeous gown.
But to was Zolani's vows that had everyone smiling from ear-to-ear. “I did some thinking and then wrote down the reasons why I want to get married to you,” Zolani out his vows to Emma.
“Emma I know I was not your first choice or the second. But I want you to know you’re the only choice for me. I’d accepted that nothing great would happen in my life, I thought I’d grow old with my aunt and help her raise Andile. That was until you gave me a child. You gave me Mbali. You gave my life meaning.”
“I know for sure that I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” he said.
“Will you be my wife,” Zolani closed off.

How could anyone say no to him after that? Zolani’s vows were thoughtful, sweet, a tad gangster and from the heart. Like Emma, we were weak in the knees and said I do before Emma said so.
And just like that, Zolani and Emma became Mr and Mrs Dlamini.
Watch the rest of the wedding tomorrow at 20:00 during the season 3 finale of The River.
