The wait is finally over! The OGs of Potomac return for another season of heat, sass and juice when The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 premieres this Wednesday at 18:00 on 1 Magic.

This season the housewives are coming in strong. You can expect to catch up with the returning cast members Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Robyn Dixon, and Monique Samuels in the new season.

Joining the cast is new housewife, Wendy Osefo, who wears many hats, including being a professor, political analyst, entrepreneur, wife and mother to three. Candiace, who is Wendy’s friend described the new housewife as ‘Black girl magic personified’.

“She could read a book honey, and she could read you down,” Candiace said.

However, every season of the real housewives comes with its own drama, and soon enough Wendy will learn that. For one, it looks like Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett’s friendship is about to come tumbling down. The season 5 trailer teases to a huge confrontation between Monique and Candiace which looks like it’ll rock the entire group of ladies.

Also in this season, you can look forward to Gizelle and Robyn rekindling their romance with their exes, Karen will open up about her institution of marriage, while Ashley will learn new rumours about her husband, Michael Darby.
