Candiace Dillard on Facing Moniqe at the Reunion - RHOP

31 October 2020
Real Housewives of Potomac reality TV stars Candiace speaks on her feud with Monique.

It's safe to say that Candiace Dillard Bassett has stolen the spotlight on the Real Housewives of Potomac. She's only been on for three seasons, which makes her a few seasons behind the rest of the ladies, but if all the buzz around the latest season of the reality show is anything to go by, it's clear she's at the centre of all talk.

Well, along with Monique Samuels, with whom she's been feuding since last year. The two, who have been on each other's throats for a hot minute now, were supposed to have squashed their beef at the season 4 Reunion Special. They had hugged it out and fessed up to missing each other terribly. But, instead of moving forward and turning a new leaf in their friendship, the frenemies ended up escalating their tension.

In a shocking twist of events, Candiace and Monique ended up being embroiled in a physical scuffle that left fans in utter disbelief. And by the time these much talked about scenes previously on the show, rumours of both ladies laying charges against each other had already been swirling around the blogs. Yet, none of that tea prepared anyone for the dramatic throwing of hands between the classy Queens.

The drama has been so taxing that Candiace is getting restless about the looming reunion. Speaking to the Just The Sip podcast, Dillard said she really just wants to get it over it, because wow!

“I think this is the first year I’m not looking forward to the reunion,” she opened up frankly. “I’m just like, can we just get to it and through it and then take me to the bar? If your name is on either couch closer to Andy Cohen, that means that you’re going to have the hardest reunion. Did I lie?”

Well, we know that the season 5 Reunion will be so lit. Be sure to keep an eye on our social platforms for the premiere of the latest season on 1Magic.
