Ra has been telling Tina how he really feels about her, and she has always avoided it. He finally confronts Tina, and when he tells her he is falling in love with her, she responds by saying thank you. This causes him to retreat, and he avoids her. This sends Tina into a tailspin as she is not liking the lack of attention. She wastes no time confronting him and explains why she has been detached. She has a lot on her plate, and society does not like older women dating younger men. With all that to consider, she decides that she wants Ra as her man and wants to tell her family about it.

Mohau has his exit plan all planned out. He did not plan for Mantoa to change her mind as she feels she has worked very hard in this marriage and will not allow all her hard work to come to nothing. So she decides that it is better to stay. Mohau asks he why she would want to stay in a loveless marriage. She says She would rather stay in a loveless marriage than leave.

Nomafu has finally returned to being with the whole family but there's been some complications after she got shot by Didier when she was being rescued. While the whole family is ready to be by her side at the hospital, the one person she would rather not see at all is Bukhosi and the boys are trying to understand why.

Gagashe and Seipati talk through the dramatic and fatal events of the day. Gagashe explains to Seipati why he did not expose Mandla, which further puts him in her good graces. Meanwhile, a distressed Mohau is worried about Mandla, but Mantoa tells him it's time that he picks a side. He either sides with the Zondi's or the Cele's. She also quickly reminds him that she is not friends with poverty.
