Tina is reeling from the aftermath of her family finding out about her and Ra. Her mother consoles her, but she is inconsolable. However, she takes her mother's advice to talk to her kids again. This does not go well, as they do not understand why she would d this. Sakhile goes as far as calling the family elders, who shame her for dating a younger man. At that point, Tina's mum has heard enough and chases them away.

Zweli meant it when he said he is done with Lindiwe and even though she has been finding it hard, she comes to a decision to grant him the divorce. On the other hand in a effort to comfort her, Bangizwe takes her out and ends up confessing how he feels about her but she’s not here for it.

Ra has been telling Tina how he really feels about her, and she has always avoided it. He finally confronts Tina, and when he tells her he is falling in love with her, she responds by saying thank you. This causes him to retreat, and he avoids her. This sends Tina into a tailspin as she is not liking the lack of attention. She wastes no time confronting him and explains why she has been detached. She has a lot on her plate, and society does not like older women dating younger men. With all that to consider, she decides that she wants Ra as her man and wants to tell her family about it.
