Nene Leakes has fans thinking she's teased a potential return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta for the show's 14th season.
Leakes, the supreme original of the series, had an explosive exit from the show in which she vowed to never come back and deal with any of the girls. But following an interview on The Real, Leakes has changed her tune, saying she's open to reclain her peach "as long as we can sort out a few things." And Kenya Moore, her arch-nemesis on the show, has already welcome the idea of Nene rejoining the cast! Speaking to PageSix, Moore greenlit the idea.
“I do think that she has a very interesting story to tell now, especially with the unfortunate passing of her husband (Gregg Leakes)", she said, adding that Nene is an OG and that title brings a lot of value to the cast. Nene is the only remaining cast member who has been with the show since it's debut, granting her the title of O.G and housewive in charge. Upon her return, the 53 year old would likely invite fans to witness how she's processing life without Gregg, who passed away in September following a four year battle with cancer.
And while nothing has been confirmed by any of the parties involved, fans have already expressed much excitement at the possibility of Nene joining confirmed season 14 cast members Kenya Moore, Marlo Hamptons, Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield and Drew Sidora. It would mark the perfect mix following the Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams departures.
