Mantoa writes Seipati a letter telling her that she is very important in her life. She also apologises for not telling her the truth about Mandla. She eventually admits that he is not to be trusted and that Mandla is not truthful. Later, Robert is in his self-actualisation era, but that is short-lived as he finds himself on the ground with a bullet to the chest.

Papi is very suspicious of Puleng and is convinced that she is cheating on him with Mandla. He asks her point blank, and she instantly denies it. At first, he is not convinced, but in classic Puleng fashion, she convinces him that it is all in his head. She even goes as far as threatening that should he ever bring this topic up again, she will leave him. He then apologises and reminds her that he loves her. It is at this point that she starts to feel guilty.

After telling Puleng that he will not go through with the plan of proposing to Seipati, Mandla gets surprised by Seipati. He arrives home to find a romantic setting where Seipati declares her undying love to him. She then takes it upon herself and proposes to him but he turns her down. He then takes the ring and proposes to her making Seipati the happiest woman in the world.

Robert is hell-bent on settling a score by shedding blood. He is now convinced of the path he must take, and it will not be through talking and reasoning but with bloodshed, as that is what gives him the edge he has been looking for. Seipati also has vengeance on her mind as she finds Mandla and Puleng in bed and rains bullets on them before hearing what they say.
