Meanwhile, Lulu knows how her bestie Tina is, so she invites herself for a lunch date at work to assess the situation. She sows a couple of seeds and watches them grow. The seeds do not take long to grow as Ra posts a picture of Tina, and Lulu is overjoyed and encourages Tina to live a little and give Ra a chance.

Khwezi has been going through a horrible time since she was held hostage for money in Refilwe and got beaten up through it all. The Thumbezas haven't rested since and promised her that all the criminals will be brought to book and that's exactly what happened when they found the brains behind it all, Tricks.

Njabulo finally forgives Mpumi for not donating her kidney in his time of need. He now understands her reasoning, but just as things are on the mend for them, Mandla is thrown into the conversation, and Mpumi defends him. Njabulo is upset with Mpumi as Mandla is the cause of all his health issues. She tries to convince him otherwise, which sends him over the edge as he tells her to leave.

Thuso has taken on the protector role and decides to do whatever it takes to make sure that Zakhele stays away from Rakgadi. After he plants drugs and gets him fired, Rakgadi puts Za at ease and assures him that she'll make sure he gets his job back even if it means exposing Thuso.
