It seems that Papi's life is about to get very difficult as Robert and Gagashe realise they have him as their common enemy. Puleng and Mandla receive an eviction notice since they have failed to make payments for the house. It looks like whatever Papi touches becomes ruined.

Mpumi tells Donald she is leaving for New York and taking Alakhe with her. He does not react favourably, but she tells him that her mind is made up and that he can visit if he wants to. Meanwhile, Puleng is back to her old tricks, trying to win Mandla back since her gravy train with Papi has dried up.

Donald confronts Mpumi about her affair with Mohau. She admits to sleeping with him on their wedding day. He loses his temper, which alerts the whole family to watch it all play out. He soon passes out while asking Mpumi how she could do this to him.

Robert receives Mdu's terms for releasing Alakhe back to them, but he is after much more than Robert is willing to give. Mdu's instructions are for Robert to unalive himself on national television then Alakhe will be returned to them. Donald thinks that he should do it as he is the cause of so much destruction. Sarah is beside herself and asks if there is another viable option to get Alakhe back.
