As Donald prepares to leave the country, he gets an unexpected visitor in his hotel room. The visitor is none other than Ace who is an old Nondumo enemy. He proceeds to knock Donald out and calls him weak. Donald awakes to find Alakhe missing and has been taken and he is distraught.

Mandla meets up with some old allies who are ready to take up arms as they share a common enemy, Gagashe. Even though Mandla is cash-strapped, it does not stop their quest, as they both have an agenda to fulfil. They feel that he keeps getting in their way and causes havoc, and he must now be stopped.

Sarah continues to tell Robert how bad a father he is for arresting Donald. She is upset that he may be using the whole situation for his own political gain, to one day become the president. Robert later gets a call from his old enemy, Mdu, who should be behind bars but is now dangling Alakhe as bait to get to Robert. He responds with anger and disdain as he realises that Donald was right all along.

Donald is in a bad state as he is on the run with Alakhe. He gets a message from his father, who tells him there is still time to fix this. Unfortunately, that message falls on deaf ears. Unbeknown to him, they are in grave danger as they seem to have a tail. Mpumi is distraught when she finds out that Alakhe and Donald are gone. She feels that Donald is doing all of this to make her pay. She fears the worst and is unconsolable, even as Puleng tries to tell her that Alakhe will return.
