Papi and Puleng's grand opening does not pan out to be what they had planned. Due to the robberies and the highjackings that Papi and Puleng did to get money to buy Danko, they are now left to deal with the aftermath of their actions as people are afraid of coming to Danko in fear of getting robbed. It is such a flop that it even trends, sending Papi and Puleng in opposite directions.

There is no love lost between Sarah and Mpumi. Sarah tells Mpumi that she is selfish in taking Alakhe to New York with her. She even goes as far as trying to slap her. Mpumi tells Sarah that she is not afraid of her and that threatening her will not help as her decision is made. The Nondumo family try to find a way to keep Alakhe from leaving.

Mpumi tells Donald she is leaving for New York and taking Alakhe with her. He does not react favourably, but she tells him that her mind is made up and that he can visit if he wants to. Meanwhile, Puleng is back to her old tricks, trying to win Mandla back since her gravy train with Papi has dried up.

Puleng feigns ignorance when asked what she is talking about. Seipati and her have a chat where they level up, and Puleng promises not to tell Mandla about her affair with Gagashe, as she feels that Mandla will not be able to handle the news. It takes Seipati some time to wrap her mind around what Puleng is saying. Puleng is acting a little too friendly, which leaves Seipati puzzled.
