Sarah is left to answer for Donald's actions. Robert calls the detective to get her to talk as he is convinced that she is harbouring his secrets. Sarah keeps reminding them that he is not a criminal. Robert wants him found and sends the police to find him but they return empty handed as he purposely left his phone in the hotel room.

Mandla comes to Seipati's rescue, but instead of finding Seipati, he finds Gagashe. They get into a fistfight; Seipati is locked in a room with Mandlakhe, who is ready to feast. Seipati calls for help but is unsuccessful and takes matters into her own hands. She manages to throw something at Mandlakhe and successfully ends Mandlakhe, but because they are connected, Gagashe takes his last breath as well.

Robert decides to not go through with the demand from Mdu. As he does that, Mdu attempts to get rid of Alakhe, but the police intersect in time and arrest him. Detective Khalipha calls Sarah telling her to tell Robert to abort the mission as they have found Mdu and Alake, and Alakhe is safe. They are too late as just as he is about to answer the call, Donald arrives to help his father finish the mission to save his son.

Robert receives Mdu's terms for releasing Alakhe back to them, but he is after much more than Robert is willing to give. Mdu's instructions are for Robert to unalive himself on national television then Alakhe will be returned to them. Donald thinks that he should do it as he is the cause of so much destruction. Sarah is beside herself and asks if there is another viable option to get Alakhe back.
