Papi is very suspicious of Puleng and is convinced that she is cheating on him with Mandla. He asks her point blank, and she instantly denies it. At first, he is not convinced, but in classic Puleng fashion, she convinces him that it is all in his head. She even goes as far as threatening that should he ever bring this topic up again, she will leave him. He then apologises and reminds her that he loves her. It is at this point that she starts to feel guilty.

Tebatso visits Poppy after getting a visit from Sarah. He is very upset with Poppy and wants to verify that he is not the father since they were intimate. Poppy insults him, and he then insults her back by saying that he clearly dodged a bullet where she is concerned. He goes on to say that he feels sorry for the baby as it will have to grow up in Poppy's family. Brenda then comes to Poppy's rescue, chases Tebatso out, and comforts Poppy after the encounter.

Mantoa writes Seipati a letter telling her that she is very important in her life. She also apologises for not telling her the truth about Mandla. She eventually admits that he is not to be trusted and that Mandla is not truthful. Later, Robert is in his self-actualisation era, but that is short-lived as he finds himself on the ground with a bullet to the chest.

uleng almost got away with fooling Papi about her affair with Mandla. He puts two and two together, and she cannot escape this predicament when he finds a watch that belongs to Mnadla on the side table. Papi then calls Mandla, who comes out of hiding and doesn't seem remorseful. Papi is very angry but still seeks an explanation that Puleng cannot give.
