Mandla plans a special surprise for Seipati where he wines and dines her. He later tells her he loves her and has never felt like this for anyone. Seipati melts under Mandla's charms as it has been a long time since anyone has done anything nice for her. She tells him that it is a welcome distraction from life's problems.

Seipati talks with Mantoa about the problems in Mantoa's marriage. She asks why she is being used as a pawn to keep Mohau. She is very upset as she feels that things that brought her a lot of pain are being used as weapons. Mantoa flips the script, denies everything and goes on to expose Mohau and Mpumi being in love. This gets Mandla's attention, who proceeds to beat Mohau for his actions with his daughter.

Mohau has his exit plan all planned out. He did not plan for Mantoa to change her mind as she feels she has worked very hard in this marriage and will not allow all her hard work to come to nothing. So she decides that it is better to stay. Mohau asks he why she would want to stay in a loveless marriage. She says She would rather stay in a loveless marriage than leave.

Mantoa writes Seipati a letter telling her that she is very important in her life. She also apologises for not telling her the truth about Mandla. She eventually admits that he is not to be trusted and that Mandla is not truthful. Later, Robert is in his self-actualisation era, but that is short-lived as he finds himself on the ground with a bullet to the chest.
