If you thought Mandla's life was miserable, it just got worse. On top of being broke and not being able to do anything about it, he now finds out that he owes Gagashe a large amount of money and large being R1.2 million that was invested in Danko. On the other hand, wife Puleng is trying to bring the spark in their relationship back by planning a sexy night but she gets disappointed.

Mantoa tells Mandla that the secret that she is carrying is very heavy and since it is heavy, she wants payment for having to carry such a heavy burden. He later tries to reason with her to agree to keep his secret, but she is not interested in anything he offers. He even goes as far as offering her a job, but she tells him that she is a lady of leisure and will not be working. She will, however, have her money, and she will get it from Mandla.

Mohau has his exit plan all planned out. He did not plan for Mantoa to change her mind as she feels she has worked very hard in this marriage and will not allow all her hard work to come to nothing. So she decides that it is better to stay. Mohau asks he why she would want to stay in a loveless marriage. She says She would rather stay in a loveless marriage than leave.
