Mandla attempts to rope in Mohau to help him bring down Gagashe, but he does not believe that he has a snake. Gagashe and Nkanyambe are unsettled because Mandlo 2.0 has come with powers that may be stronger than Mandlakhe's. This revelation has unsettled the happy home that Gagashe and Seipati were building as she also wants to know whether Gagashe has a snake.

Mantoa tells Mandla that the secret that she is carrying is very heavy and since it is heavy, she wants payment for having to carry such a heavy burden. He later tries to reason with her to agree to keep his secret, but she is not interested in anything he offers. He even goes as far as offering her a job, but she tells him that she is a lady of leisure and will not be working. She will, however, have her money, and she will get it from Mandla.

Mohau surprises Mantoa by showing her that he no longer needs crutches, can walk, and is completely healed. An excited Mantoa alerts Seipati, who is also elated as she sees that Mohau is well. She then apologised to Mantoa and Mohau for bringing Gagashe into their lives, eventually leading to Morena’s untimely passing. Mantoa comforts Seipati and thanks her for fighting for the family.

Mohau has his exit plan all planned out. He did not plan for Mantoa to change her mind as she feels she has worked very hard in this marriage and will not allow all her hard work to come to nothing. So she decides that it is better to stay. Mohau asks he why she would want to stay in a loveless marriage. She says She would rather stay in a loveless marriage than leave.
