Mohau has his exit plan all planned out. He did not plan for Mantoa to change her mind as she feels she has worked very hard in this marriage and will not allow all her hard work to come to nothing. So she decides that it is better to stay. Mohau asks he why she would want to stay in a loveless marriage. She says She would rather stay in a loveless marriage than leave.

Robert confronts Sarah about cancelling the lease for Poppy's apartment. She tells him that she was merely protecting the Nondumo money. She visits Poppy to inform her that she must not have any communication with Robert as she has taken it upon herself to support Poppy with whatever she may need. Still, she is not to speak to Robert under any circumstances. Poppy is left dumbfounded by this.

Mantoa tells Mandla that the secret that she is carrying is very heavy and since it is heavy, she wants payment for having to carry such a heavy burden. He later tries to reason with her to agree to keep his secret, but she is not interested in anything he offers. He even goes as far as offering her a job, but she tells him that she is a lady of leisure and will not be working. She will, however, have her money, and she will get it from Mandla.

Seipati confronts Gagashe about the accusations from Puleng. He does what he does best; he deflects. He makes Seipati feel bad for questioning him and is successful once again in getting her off his trail of dead bodies.
