Mohau surprises Mantoa by showing her that he no longer needs crutches, can walk, and is completely healed. An excited Mantoa alerts Seipati, who is also elated as she sees that Mohau is well. She then apologised to Mantoa and Mohau for bringing Gagashe into their lives, eventually leading to Morena’s untimely passing. Mantoa comforts Seipati and thanks her for fighting for the family.

He now understands her reasoning, but just as things are on the mend for them, Mandla is thrown into the conversation, and Mpumi defends him. Njabulo is upset with Mpumi as Mandla is the cause of all his health issues. She tries to convince him otherwise, which sends him over the edge as he tells her to leave.
