Mantoa catches Mandla trying to sneak Puleng out of the house since they have been continuing with their affair. He tries to reason with her to keep his secret, but she is disappointed in him for playing with Seipati's heart. The reasons he gives her are thin, but she makes him promise to never cheat on Seipati again and then says she will not tell Seipati about the affair.

Tebatso visits Poppy after getting a visit from Sarah. He is very upset with Poppy and wants to verify that he is not the father since they were intimate. Poppy insults him, and he then insults her back by saying that he clearly dodged a bullet where she is concerned. He goes on to say that he feels sorry for the baby as it will have to grow up in Poppy's family. Brenda then comes to Poppy's rescue, chases Tebatso out, and comforts Poppy after the encounter.

Donald is in a bad state as he is on the run with Alakhe. He gets a message from his father, who tells him there is still time to fix this. Unfortunately, that message falls on deaf ears. Unbeknown to him, they are in grave danger as they seem to have a tail. Mpumi is distraught when she finds out that Alakhe and Donald are gone. She feels that Donald is doing all of this to make her pay. She fears the worst and is unconsolable, even as Puleng tries to tell her that Alakhe will return.

Puleng wants Mohau to answer for his actions. She is very upset with him as she feels he has ruined Mpumi’s life. He is under the impression that Alakhe is his son and has told the Nondumo’s this. Mandla wants to get to the bottom of this and is shocked as Puleng continues to shout at Mohau for his actions.
