The mystery behind Siphiwe's murder gets worse for the Hlophes because Nomafu keeps dodging every question, but the mistake she did of leaving her blouse near the murder scene gets her in big trouble.

It is no secret that the Cele household has been under much pressure recently, and things have not been smooth sailing. From Seipati leaving Mandla to their financial woes. The latest offering of trouble is Seipati's recent engagement leaving Mandla feeling betrayed as he feels Mohau should choose him over his sworn enemy Gagashe and his mum. Puleng's incessant nagging and blame shifting does not help as she doesn't listen to Mandla, and he collapses on the floor and is unresponsive.

Robert is hell-bent on settling a score by shedding blood. He is now convinced of the path he must take, and it will not be through talking and reasoning but with bloodshed, as that is what gives him the edge he has been looking for. Seipati also has vengeance on her mind as she finds Mandla and Puleng in bed and rains bullets on them before hearing what they say.

Seipati reveals to Mandla that she is afraid that the past will repeat itself and that she will be humiliated again now that they are engaged. He manages to calm her fears for now. He later meets with Puleng and admits that she is right. He wants to get everything owed and asks her to help him get everything back.
