Actor Samuel L. Jackson features in this 6-part docuseries centred around the transatlantic slave trade. In the series, Jackson will shine a light on 400 years of human trafficking and the thousands of millions of Africans who were forcefully shipped to America. Featuring alongside Jackson will be writer and author Afua Hirsch and investigative journalist Simcha Jacobovici.

The Chi Season 3
Lena Waithe’s The Chi returns to 1 Magic for a third season. For those who don’t know, The Chi is a drama series which focuses on life in a neighbourhood on the South Side of Chicago. The first episode of season 3, the show kicks off with two opposite events – Brandon’s funeral and his mom’s wedding.

LA’s Finest Season 2
LA’s Finest female cops Syd (Gabrielle Union) and Nancy (Jessica Alba) return for a new season of cleaning up the streets of Los Angeles. Syd is devastated and mourns the sudden loss of a friend. She goes on a quest to find the answers leading to her friend’s death but struggles to come to any conclusion. On the other hand, Nancy needs to deal with the events following Izzy’s kidnapping and the rift it has caused in her marriage.
