Tebatso visits Poppy after getting a visit from Sarah. He is very upset with Poppy and wants to verify that he is not the father since they were intimate. Poppy insults him, and he then insults her back by saying that he clearly dodged a bullet where she is concerned. He goes on to say that he feels sorry for the baby as it will have to grow up in Poppy's family. Brenda then comes to Poppy's rescue, chases Tebatso out, and comforts Poppy after the encounter.

Mandla tells Seipati that he has divorced Puleng. He then declares his undying love to Seipati. Seipati is not impressed with this and reminds him of what he did when they were together and how badly he treated her. Later she struggles to sleep as her whole body is itchy and she prays for healing.

Zungazi is not about to let Emma go down without a fight or her money. While they wait for Lindiwe to act and pay them before they release the book, she goes to Khanyisa to expose her even more with journalists around and brings Zolani's past up in order to rattle her.

NJ pays Tebatso a visit wanting to know why he would kill his ‘friend’ Phakade. Tebatso tells him they were not friends and that it was in self-defence. NJ is unwilling to listen and does not believe Tebatso. He is saddened as he still loves Phakade and is now gone forever. Meanwhile, his father escapes from prison with the intent of avenging Phakade.
