How To Get Away With Murder is coming to an end, and it's emotions everywhere. Viewers and the show's cast have been reflecting on the six years with the show ahead of it's sixth and final season finale, which will be airing on 1Magic, DStv channel 103 on Monday at 20:00.
Viola Davis, who's nabbed countless prestigious awards through the years for her spine chilling portrayal of criminal defense attorney Annalise Keating, has led the sentiment as she's taken to social media to thank the cast for the work they've put in delivering one of the best shows of the past decade.
In a post shared on Twitter ahead of the finale, the 42 year old Oscar winner triggered a wave of emotions with a few snaps featuring the show's main cast. "Look at my beautiful co-stars!", she captioned proudly. "In every way!! Love, love, love them ALL!!!!"
And while fans were in a celebratory mood over the show's success run over the last six years, it was also an emotional send off to the most explosive storylines, plot twist, murders, secrets and shocking affairs. The critically lauded series has kept everyone their feet during it's epic run, and an equally explosive final season is exactly what fans of the show deserve.
In a video interview shared by PEOPLE Magazine, Viola thanked audiences for immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of the characters, diving the blows of the most explosive plot twists and tuning in consistently through the years. "Thank you for bringing yourself into it and opening yourself up for 42 minutes and inviting us into your lives because it's been a hell of a ride", she said.
Other cast members, including Matt McGorry, Billy Brown and Alfred Enoch also added to the gratitude.
