Tyra Banks doesn't want her son to be a model

Little York doesn't have to worry about photoshoots and the runway, because it's a no from mom

She's had one of the most successful modelling careers in the world, but Tyra Banks is "worried" that her son might be influenced to follow in his mom's supermodel's steps. She's not having it.

The 44-year-old America's Next Top Model host told PEOPLE magazine that she simply doesn't see it for her 2-year-old son, York. "I just don't want him to be a model", she said.

Further to the fact that she's crafted one of the most distinguished careers in the modelling industry, it's rather ironic that Ms. Banks, who's getting more coins for discovering and mentoring aspiring supermodels insists that her own child should never. But, says the glamorous mama, it's all because he's a little dude.

"I just think that for guys, being a male model, what does that do to you?"

Well, she probably has enough material to scare him off anyways. And if that doesn't work, she could fall back on some good ol' reverse psychology. Tell him to go for it all the way so that he doesn't listen.
