Lethabo Mathatho says that her appearance on the Real Housewives of Johannesburg has taught a great deal about herself. She’s learned about her confidence and resilience, both characteristics which were necessary for her to navigate the sometimes shady and often adversarial relationships with the bold and outspoken cast of the second season of the popular 1Magic reality show.
Known as ‘Lejoy’ to her growing legion of fans, Lethabo has been tipped as one of the breakout stars on sophomore season of the show. Fans have loved all the meme worthy moments she’s delivered, her ruthless shade towards her frenemies, her over the top fashion and, perhaps more notably, her hilarious confessional diary sessions.

But giving viewers some of the most talked about moments on the show has been no walk in the part for Lethabo. So when we asked her what she’s learned since joining the cast, she first joked that she’s found out just how many haters she’s been able to cultivate.
The precious lessons for her, though, are just how much being surrounded by other strong personalities has helped to understand herself a little bit better.
