We celebrate world Emoji Day on the 17th of July. The celebrations started back in 2014. The founder of Emojipedia, Jeremy Burge, decided the day for Emoji based on how the calendar emoji is displayed.
World Emoji day is not just a celebration of the calendar emoji. Still, it was created to celebrate all emojis because emojis are simply unique and have become a fun way of communicating, which is an excellent reminder of what emoji stands for etc.
Did you know that there is even an emoji song? Jonathan Mann is the genius behind the emoji song, and we can’t help but bop our heads to the beat. Join in the fun and sing/dance along here. It is fun for everyone, and that is just what emojis represent. Another fun way to celebrate emoji day is watching the Emoji movie, which is an excellent reminder of what emoji stands for.
Here is a couple of the most loved and used emojis.
- 🫶 Heart Hands
- ❤️ Red Heart
- 🫠 Melting Face
- 🥹 Face Holding Back Tears
- 🔥 Fire
- ✨ Sparkles
- 💀 Skull
- 😊 Smiling Face with Smiling Eyes
- 😂 Face with Tears of Joy
Did you know that the heart on fire was voted 2021's favourite emoji? The pandemic has also brought on a lot of love, and we love it.
Enjoy the day and spread the love by responding only in emojis to your loved ones to celebrate World Emoji Day.💃❤️🔥🥳
