As we continue to celebrate love, this week we’ve prepared some food especially for your soul. So without further ado, here’s what’s cooking in the Massive Music kitchen!

Nathi and Amanda Mankayi

We loved his hit track Nomvula and the entire album, Buyelekhaya, catapulted him into the hearts of many as a gem. So it’s fair to say that the guy possesses that certain ‘juju’. After taking a short hiatus the award-winning Afro-pop crooner is back with his second twelve-track offering, Umbulelo Wam.

Notably, however, this time he is not alone. Having branched out to start his own record label alongside his sister, Amanda, the duo are showing us that not only do they hail from talented roots but they are also here to create the platform for new and emerging artists to grow.

Amanda is an artist to look out for with a set of vocals that command only a standing ovation! Her song Impilo has received praise and it’s clear that her star is set to shine brighter.

Ma Nala

Coming from the same family as rapper and producer Anathii, Aphelele “Ma Nala” Mnyango was inspired to get on her own musical journey. She describes her sound as more Afro futuristic with her single Soze, that’s been on rising rotation since it’s release. The songbird is hard at work in the studio on a five-track EP due to come out later on this hear.
