While a cash prize of R10 000, lunch with Queen Ntwenhle, plus a cow are all up for grabs in Mandla’s Tavern Shela Competition, the title “eBhubesini’s Shela Champion” is definitely the ultimate prize.
And to think, the idea actually started off as one of Mandla’s silly suggestions to get Bongani and Bhekumuzi to compete against each other for Kentucky’s attention the other day.
The competition is literally the most talked about event in the valley now. The chieftaincy has given it the green light and even threw in sponsorship!
It promises to be the biggest event in the valley and we’re wondering who, among the fellows, would be interested in taking part? Here’s a few suggestions:
Bongani:
He’d probably want to retain the title, after winning in the competition’s initial stage.
Bhekumuzi:
He has a point to prove, after losing to Bongani the other day.
Duma:
He’d probably join because Qondi has challenged her and he’d want to make her happy.
Mbodla:
He considers himself a man amongst men and would want to prove this.
Fezile:
He’d probably would want to woo Qondi once again and hopefully get her back.
S’khaleni:
He’s ever so confident and would want to prove he can do anything.
Ntandane:
He’d probably want to try and charm his new love interest, Nkosazana.
Qaphela:
He’d probably want to show Mabuyi he really likes her.
The list is endless! Who else do you think might want to take part and who'll be the ultimate winner?
Stay tuned to Isibaya every Monday to Friday at 20:30 to see who wins the Shela Competition.
