Karabo has kept a secret about his two kids outside of his relationship with Elizabeth. He then asks her if she will accept them. She responds that she is shocked, especially because she had remained faithful to and stayed with him even when he was incarcerated. She declines when asked if she will be with having the kids come and live with them. She feels that those kids should stay with their mother, and she will stay with hers, which did not sit very well with Karabo.

Ntombi comes clean with her husband and tells him that her brother's child is her child. She had the child while she was in high school and was scared to tell him about her child. He is taken aback by this information and asks her how he will explain this to his family. He is also bothered by the fact that this has happened to him in a previous relationship, and now that it is happening again in his marriage, he is at a loss for words.
