The PK took the title in 2012 with 80% of the vote and then ran with it. In 2013, he appeared on The Clash of the Choirs as part of the KwaZulu-Natal choir – and won. He then hosted Gospel Alive; released his debut album; was ordained as a pastor; and won awards. These included Best Newcomer at the 12th Annual Metro FM Awards, Best Contemporary Faith Music Album at SAMA 2017, and the 2016 SABC Crown Gospel Awards for Best Gospel DVD. He’s even part of the biggest choir in the country, Joyous Celebration. An artist that’s stay attuned to new sounds and his audience, his last album was 2018’s ‘All About Jesus’.
