YANGA

Season 14 gave us some of the most memorable vocalists we've ever encountered with the competition remaining fierce right until the final moment. That's why we're elated but not in the least surprised to see some of our finalists already making huge strides in the industry.

Our winner, Yanga has teamed up with fellow Idols SA alumnus and chart-topper, Amanda Black as well as the Soweto Gospel Choir for a new single titled 'Promised Land'. YES, it's as glorious a collaboration as you're likely thinking and we foresee this track becoming one of the defining hits of the year! It also gets us super-excited for the release of Yanga's debut album. Have a listen and download or stream the single on any major platform by clicking here.

KING B

Also lifting our spirits and getting into the Gospel game is King B and we couldn't be more elated. After all, he fulfilled a years'-long-wish of thousands of Idols SA fans performing, 'Lion of Judah' with the Soweto Gospel Choir. It became one of the greatest performances of his time on the show alongside his homage to Michael Jackson with 'Remember The Time'. The fact it's been watched over half a million times to date is a testament to this. Now he's back with 'Holy Ghost', a haunting anthem about redemption and salvation against all odds and we adore it. Have a listen below or stream/download it on a platform of your choice by clicking here.

PAXTON

When we reviewed her debut album, 'This Is Me' last year, we gave this track a 5/5 and now Paxton's gone and made it her latest single. 'Kiss The Haze' is a new-age Dance Hall banger and Tresor's feature is simply one of the best on the whole album. The music video dropped mid-March and now we're even more obessed because it's her best visual to date. Have a look and download her single here.

XAE

Idols SA's reigning princess made a mark early in the game giving us some of the most intricate and complex vocalisation we've ever heard on the show. Clearly we aren't the only ones who noticed her gift. After Glamour Magazine featured one of her covers in a reaction video she got the seal of approval from Billie Eilish herself. The superstar literally fan-girled in her seat and asked Xae to "come over and write a song." She's since gotten over 1 MILLION views on that video.

She's also has over 120 000 subscribers on YouTube now and was recently awarded YouTube's Silver Play button. Keep slaying the game Xae! Subscribe to her channel here.
