We always knew they were talented but WOW! This past Sunday was truly something else!

With the theme set as inspiration and the short but purpose filled life of Thami Shobede worthy of homage, the Idols SA Top 10 reached deep within themselves to lay their soul bare at the State Theatre. There was no shortage of beautiful and heartwarming moments as the young rising stars truly inspired us all with their boundless talented and riveting voices. Take a look at some of the moments that had Twitter buzzing the most!

It goes without saying that the death of Thami has touched us all. Taken away from us at the tender age of 31; Mzansi, the Idols contestants, the judges and Pro were absolutely gutted by his passing and as such poured out buckets of love for the phenomenal talent that was Tami.

Glory, glory. Hallelujah!

This week's special guest was none other than the indomitable Dr Tumi and the gospel sensation truly took us to church! Performing his hit single "Nothing Without You" alongside the Top 10, Dr Tumi had us all grooving to his song of praise. His performance was the perfect kick start to the show and clearly left the contestants feeling amped as they carried his infectious energy on throughout the show.

Tears on tears on tears

There's no denying emotions were running high throughout the show as tributes flowed and songs touched souls. As such it comes as no surprise that there were a fair share of tear-jerking moments that left not only the judges but South Africa as a whole all watery eyed.

Now with the train now rolling full steam ahead, #IdolsSA keeps raising the bar! So it goes without saying that you absolutely don't want to miss a moment of it all!
