When 23 year old Mmangaliso walked into the Johannesburg auditions, nothing could have prepared her for the journey that was about to ensue. The young jazzy loving and calm-spirited singer went from a timid talent to a quiet force that constantly served up endless talent everytime she stepped onto the Idols SA stage.
It's almost a wonder that she's barely two decades old yet she carried herself with such poise and exuded a maturity way beyond her years. As such her performances were always cool, calm and collected. That's why it comes as no surprise that Unathi regularly reminded her that the world was already waiting for her and ready to catapult her to stardom. In the words of Somizi, "You gave me hope that there's amazing vocalists in this country".
So as her journey comes to an end on Idols but not in the world of music, revist some of her most memorable performances.
