Day 40: Mama Controller 2.0? Nsuku takes the reins! – BBMzansi

Do we have some control issues in the house?

If you thought Nate’s self-proclaimed title of ‘Mama Controller’ was the last we'd hear of housemate power struggles, think again! Enter Nsuku, who might just be the ultimate Mama Controller 2.0. While Nate initially made the declaration in a comical way during last night's wager presentation to clap back at accusations of controlling Beekay, Nsuku seems to have embraced the role – perhaps without even realising it!

Let’s rewind a bit. During the last live eviction show, Nate was grilled about her so-called influence over Beekay. She insisted she wasn’t controlling him, stating, “he is his own person”. But the housemates, particularly Beekay’s other ‘connections’ – Mshini and Nsuku – weren’t buying it. Even Nsuku herself stepped in at one point to remind Nate that she was not Beekay’s mother when she tried sending him to bed while he was deep in conversation with Philile. Philile even told Nate that they were almost done, but Nsuku wasn’t having it, going as far as jokingly asking if Nate was trying to breastfeed him. Savage!

Fast forward to last night, and the tables have turned. It was Beekay’s birthday, and his squad – including Mandy Hagan, Muzi-TheMbuzi, Siphesihle, and Philile – were in the mood to celebrate. Mandy Hagan, who was lounging on Nate’s bed, was hesitant, worried about how Nate might react. But Muzi-TheMbuzi was ready for whatever, declaring that if Nate had an issue, she could come to him directly.

Watch last night's pool party:

Just as everyone was getting comfy, here comes Nsuku – ready to shut down the party. She pulled Muzi-TheMbuzi away, insisting that it was late and time for bed. What followed was an intense back-and-forth, with Muzi-TheMbuzi defending his right to talk to whoever he wanted. Nsuku, however, wasn’t backing down. She even sarcastically told Muzi-TheMbuzi he was free to go back to Beekay’s bed if he wanted.

Muzi-TheMbuzi, sensing the tension, asked Nsuku why she was angry and even cheekily requested a kiss – one that was firmly denied. Things got even pettier when he wasn’t even allowed to take his mic to the bathroom without promising to come straight back! The final power move? Nsuku made it clear she was not sleeping alone, especially if it was his bed.

Muzi-TheMbuzi, in an attempt to reason with her, explained, “I am all about you, but you must understand that I am a people’s person”. He eventually went back to his squad, but Nsuku wasn’t done making her presence felt occupying her own bed and pasting pictures on the top bunker, and stayed there while Muzi-TheMbuzi was left alone on his.

Was Nsuku’s real issue that he was hanging out with Mandy Hagan, given their past beef? She didn’t say it outright, but the vibes were there. So what’s next for this ‘ship’? Will they make it through this mini power struggle, or is Nsuku about to take her Mama Controller 2.0 status to the next level? What will happen to their boiler oom spoils? We wait and see!
