Day 37: Reflections on face-to-face nominations – BBMzansi

Housemates find Biggie spicy.
Many

Today's diary sessions were all about tlast night's explosive face-to-face nominations, and the housemates were loving the twist that spilled all the tea, leaving no room to hide.

They had their charged chats with Big Brother today, and Mata finally spilled the scalding truths about her fractured friendship with Nsuku. Things have been looking super shady between them lately, and after putting Nsuku up for nomination last night, Mata didn't hold back. She reiterated her reason for nominating Nsuku to Biggie, saying Nsuku's been trying to play puppet master, and she’s not having any of it, and that she’s not about to let anyone control her.

Mata revealed that the energy in their friendship shifted after she refused to pass on the gossip of Nsuku and Beekay kissing in the shower to Nate. She told Biggie that she made it clear to Nsuku that she didn’t want to come off as a gossipmonger, but Nsuku confirmed that that was exactly what she wanted, and that didn’t sit well with Mata.

Meanwhile, Mandy Hagan couldn’t help but call Biggie spicy for what went down last night. She admitted to loving the drama of the face-to-face nominations but felt like the housemates were playing it safe and weren’t being real with their choices. According to her, if they’d been behind closed doors, the nominations would’ve looked a whole lot different.

Feeling energized, Muzi-TheMbuzi and Melino were in high spirits today, with Melino telling Big Brother he was actually excited to be up for nominations. He said he’d been feeling too comfortable in the house, so getting this wake-up call was exactly what he needed to remind him that it’s a game. On the flip side, Muzi-TheMbuzi wasn’t at all shocked by how people nominated last night. He said he chose to let bygones be bygones and just keep it moving.

Jojo, staring down eviction for the first time, wasn’t having any of Beekay’s excuse for nominating her. Beekay claimed he was putting Jojo up because she’s an instigator, but Jojo told Biggie that his reasoning was way off. She called him out, saying he totally missed the mark and should’ve come up with a better excuse if he wanted to play the game.

The mystery causing anxiety in the house is who HoH Tyrone added on the eviction list and Tyrone didn’t mince words when explaining his nominations to Biggie. He revealed that he put up Siphesihle because he sees her as serious competition. He went on to say that, just like with his core nominations of Sweet Guluva and Philile, his strategy is all about staying ahead and eliminating anyone who could challenge him in the game.

This Sunday is shaping up to be one hell of a day, with eleven housemates up for eviction. The house is buzzing with curiosity, wondering how many will actually make it through and who will be shown the door.
