About an hour after the pool party, Gugu and Siphesihle bonded over some first-class gossip, hiding upstairs like sneaky detectives. Gugu was dishing out exclusive tea, spilling secrets that Sipha Lee had trusted her with.
Earlier on in the kitchen, Siphesihle had asked Sipha Lee if he would act on his feelings if he weren’t attached outside the house. His response? A firm “nah”. But just moments later, he confided in Gugu, saying that the only person he could share his true feelings with had “just left the kitchen” (a.k.a. Siphesihle). And what did Gugu do? She ran straight to Siphesihle with the juicy update! Siphesihle was in shock – how could her “twin” (as she calls him) even consider something like that? Sipha Lee, who reminds Siphesihle of her actual older brother, just got double-zoned: first as family, now as a twin. Ouch.
Watch their gossip session here:
As if that wasn’t enough drama, Gugu casually dropped a bombshell – Ezra has shown interest in her. But Siphesihle, unfazed, assured her that she had already set her boundaries. The irony? Ezra and Sipha Lee are tight, but Ezra is also eyeing a ship with Jojo, who is definitely not Siphesihle’s biggest fan thanks to a prank gone terribly wrong. The house dynamics? Messy. The entertainment? Premium.
Speaking of Ezra, a comment he made to Mata about becoming the week's Queen of Umlilo rubbed her up the wrong way, and she was not having it. She firstly got upset that Ezra was denying her the drink she wanted, then him adding that she became the Queen of Umlilo because of his decider ball made her feel like she is at his mercy, and she did not like that. She was frusrated and shouted at Ezra both in his presence and absence, making sure she is being heard.
Kryptonite kitchen chronicles and wars
The Kryptonites are in charge of the kitchen this week, but let’s just say their cooking skills are... questionable. 🤭 From Gugu starting the pap (or phuthu), laughing at it mid-stir, and then casually walking away to the chakalaka that had enough spice to set off fire alarms – Team Hip Hop is in for a very interesting weekend.
Nate had already raised concerns about portion sizes while the team were still chopping, but Tyrone shut it down, reminding everyone that they’re in charge. Sipha Lee, on the other hand, made it very clear that the wager winners should get bigger portions than the losers. "Let's not be greedy," Luzuko and Swiss chimed in, pushing back against Sipha Lee’s questionable suggestion.
Watch the Kryptonite's wager win:
Meanwhile, Nate and Nsuku weren’t shy about asking for more meat when the ladies fetched their plates – because, let’s be honest, their portions were looking a bit tragic. 😅 The guys, however, took a different approach, opting to eat from the same plate. But Uyanda was not having it. As a self-proclaimed slow eater, he warned that if anyone ate too fast, he would call them out and demand accountability. 🍽️😂
It looked like mealtime was about to be as spicy as their chakalaka and lo and behold, it was. Uyanda and Swiss went off at each other over their communal eating. 🌶️🔥
Issues with hot sauce escalated them into a heated argument that was almost turning aggressive. "Im coming for you one-by-one", Uyanda said, adding the need to advocate for himself. His agitation worsened as Mandy Hagan tried to deescalate him by touching him, even though he asked not to be touched.
The way the situation turned out, Swiss had to be summoned to the diary room and once Big Brother was done with him, Uyanda was next on the hot seat. No one knows what Biggie discussed with the two boys but, it helped diffuse the noise.
