The day ended with a fair share of ships, squabbles, and serious fun.
Here are five things you probably missed:
1. The A connection.
Ash-ley Ogle and Sweet Guluva's ship is sailing strong! During a conversation with Abobo and Tyrone, Ash-ley Ogle discovered that she and Sweet Guluva share a special connection - their names both start with the letter A! This revelation sparked a heartwarming moment, with Ash-ley Ogle confessing that she's glad she won't have to fight her baby daddy over naming their future child starting with the letter A. Sweet Guluva, on the other hand, revealed his dream of having seven kids, while Ash-ley' Ogle said she was happy with four. Their ship is sailing stronger by the day, surviving every tide. Sipha Lee jokingly mentioned that Ash-ley Ogle and Sweet Guluva were separated faster than usual during Biggie's challenge, where they had to run to a sticker and dance until the music stopped.
2. Jojo's mashup!
Meanwhile, Jojo's polyamorous journey is getting interesting! She confided in Abobo about Head of House Ezra's jealousy when he saw her sitting with Luzuko. She said he was pacing up and down, which became a signal to Jojo that he wasn't impressed. Jojo's found herself torn between Ezra and Luzuko. Abobo asked her why she can't choose between them, and Jojo revealed her fear of being used as a strategy.
However, Jojo's rules for Ezra, which include not being touched or kissed out of respect for her pastor father, seem to have flown out the window the moment she was with Ezra. She was spotted getting cozy with Ezra, asking him what he wanted her to do more, and even sharing sweet pecks.
3. Break it till you make it.
The dance challenge has brought out the best (and worst) in the housemates! Tyrone and Mata got into a hilarious misstep, while Nate and Philile engaged in a push-and-pull, which Philile didn't appreciate. Siphesihle, on the other hand, brought the heat with her killer moves!
4. Food wars flare up.
In other news, food once again took centre stage in the still of the night. Sipha Lee complained about the bread disappearing, while Tyrone accused others of having bread to avoid washing dishes. Meanwhile, HoH Ezra has been swimming in luxury in the HoH bedroom. He was snacking on mangoes and an alcoholic beverage while his mates were trying to make ends meet in the kitchen. Abobo and Kay B got into a clash over Abobo taking juice before they finished dishing up. Who knew that juice could be at the centre of a warzone?
5. The silver lining.
On a more positive note, the wager preparation has been going well! Housemates are loving the musical instruments and improvising their sounds. The freestyling has brought a sense of unity, and one team even suggested throwing flour for ambiance. We love how some of the housemates are making an effort and considering each other's feelings when confronted with sticky situations.
