Try to find someone who hasn’t heard of legendary DJ Fresh, and you may be looking for a lifetime. The club DJ, radio and television personality, producer, entrepreneur and family man has at least 35 spectacular albums under his belt and many wonder how he manages to do it all.
DJ Fresh hails from Botswana where he was previously known as Thato Sikwane and is now one of the biggest and most respected DJs in the South African scene. he moved to Johannesburg to study at Boston Media House and also to further his career as a music DJ. He started out as a radio DJ on YFM and later moved to 5FM where he has been for 10 years presenting the Freshest Fresh show weekdays between 05:00 and 08:00. He has shared the decks on stage with a number of legendary international house and club DJs like "Little Louie" Vega, Frankie Knuckles, Armad Van Helden and Dominic Spreadlove.
DJ Fresh also has his own company, Big Dawg Productions and as well as a scholarship programme for talented students who wish to study.
Many may recognize him as one of the judges of reality talent show SA’s Got Talent along with being the headline act at some of the biggest parties in the country.
