Fans of the popular dating reality show were gobsmacked.

Chaos and vur'vaai were the order of the night at the taping of the S'jola Sonke season 1 reunion special.

After 14 weeks of navigating relationships in search for another partner to add to their relationships, the couples rocked their Sunday best to reflect on the season that was. Tswyza did not hold back as both the couples and the singles laid a number of issues on the swanky coffee table.

Amongst a slew of shocking twists, we found out that Hope and Lesego had decided to go their separate ways. Not only that, Lesego has decided to proceed with Nosipho, who she met on the show. The new pair will ramp up the speed of their long-distance relationship and move closer together in Johannesburg, where Lesego is based.

Fresh off their engagement last week, which also took place on the show, Juju, and Kwanele announced that they would not be choosing any of the singles on the show. Instead, the Maboneng couple wants to spend their time nurturing their own relationship and hopefully, take matters down the aisle soon enough.

Test and Rainbow will be continuing their relationship with Mbali.

Here is what the people have said;

Chi Chi had all the smoke for Kwanele and Julius, as well as a bone to pick with Test and Rainbow

Nosipho may have not been invited to join Hope and Lesego, but that's likely because they have split up. Regardless, that was sad.

Lungile's feud with Rainbow didn't simmer down at the reunion.

We are equally stressed.
