Mzansi’s favourite Ring Of Lies Season 2 couple has been nominated for the prestigious South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), and we kind of figured why.
Well, you see Vele Manenje (Shandukani) who’s nominated in the Best Supporting Actress – Telenovela Category and Warren Masemola (Stukkie) who’s nominated in the Best Supporting Actor – Telenovela Category have won Mzansi’s hearts in many ways, and here’s a quick look at some of these moments:
Stukkie’s first time
Who could ever forget Stukkie’s BIG SECRET!? Shame, poor thing was so nervous to tell Shandukani he had never been intimate with a woman before. He kept it a secret for weeks on end! That time, Shandukani was going out of her mind, thinking Stukkie was not THAT into her because he kept coming up with all sort of ridiculous excuses. When he finally told her, he came up with a term for it: “Going to Joburg”, LOL!
The Talent Show
Oh man! And then there was that Talent Show in Venda. Let’s just say, these two surely know how to put up a show! Mind you, they were not even part of the performing acts that day, but they squeezed in their rap song and they got the audience on their feet.
Their perfect wedding
This probably goes down as the couple’s highlight for the season! Being a sucker for romance, Stukkie wanted to give Shandukani the perfect wedding and he did, literally! He got the Our Perfect Wedding crew to go all the way to Venda, just they could have their perfect wedding. Isn’t he the sweetest? Did we mention his vows!? They were errthang! See for yourself!
The South African Television and Film Awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Sun City Superbowl at 19:00 on March 2.
