We’ve seen cakes. Then we’ve seen the work of art some of our couples have had on their wedding day.
Tonight, Nomsa and Celeste were counting down the best cakes we’ve seen on the show. Here’s the couples that made it to the Top 10:
10. Kerschia and Diosaint
This couple is #CoupleGoals! Their cake matched with their purple Africa inspired outfits.
9. Mpumi and Andrew
While Mpumi and Andrew’s cake didn’t match their outfits, their four-tier cake was definitely something you don’t see every day! Those details on that pink, white and gold cake were beautiful.
8. Prudence and Gift
This couple went for something different. They had a semi-naked cake for their special day.
7. Nandipha and Simphiwe
Nandipha and Simphiwe’s fruit, chocolate, red velvet cake had gold trimmings. Levels!
6. Bridget and Edwin
Just like Nomsa, Bridget preferred the carrot cake, while Edwin liked the vanilla. Their cake looked amazing!
5. Ntukeleng and Vuyisile
It was a simple, classic cake for our couple. Just like the bride herself, their beautiful five-tier cake was the centre of attention on their wedding.
4. Chene and Justin
Chene and Justin wanted something simple and elegant, so they went for a lovely white and brown cake with gold trimmings.
3. Betty and Neo
This couple had their surname on the cake! That was one beautiful cake, with white and champagne undertones.
2. Fikile and Mlindeni
This couple celebrated their 37th anniversary. The cake looked just like a beautiful dress and had a massive cake stand.
1. Ntombikayise and Bongani
Nomsa called it the 2000-and-now cake! We see why! Ntombikayise and Bongani’s cake supplier did the things here!
