It is often said, “Happiness is being married to your best friend.” Tebogo (34) and David Kgola (45) are doing just that tonight, and we’re here for it!

How they met:

The couple met back in 2007. David was friends with Tebogo’s colleague, and David happened to tag along with the colleague to work one day. It was around home time and David suggested that they all go out for drinks.

“He didn’t have a jacket, so I gave him my work jacket. We ended up being friends.” said Tebogo. For David, it was love at first sight. “I’m the kind of person who can’t express himself, so it took time for us to get acquainted and finally tell her how I feel,” he said.

Tebogo, on the other hand, could literally write a book about the things she loves about David.

Challenges: 

David cited disloyalty as one of their biggest challenge yet. “She found out about the affair and was hurt. Our relationship changed from then,” he said. Elaborating he said each time they would have problems, this would come up and they would often break up for a while. “We never stopped loving each other, but pride would get the best of us,” Tebogo added. She said their son would intervene and try to get them back together.
