Beazy_Stark applauded Sthandiwe Kgoroge for her portrayal of Mthaniya. Joy-Zelda called for Thembinkosi Mthembu (Godongwana) to be given his flowers. Percy Maluleke commented that Dawn Thandeka King's (Mkabayi) craft is worthy of an Oscar. Mbuyi Vilakazi was in awe of Calvin Ratladi’s performance (Goloza), and JerziNo10 applauded the whole team.

Like many, The Visual Sister and Jabulani Macdonald were shocked by King Jobe’s wickedness. They refused to believe a father could order his sons to be killed merely based on hearsay.
