Get the popcorn ready: the ladies of eThekwini are back for season 2 of The Real Housewives of Durban, premiering Mzansi Magic channel 161 on DStv on Monday 19 December at 18:00. That’s right: we have more couture, rivalry, laughter and drama on the menu.

The first season of the Showmax Original was a hit with Mzansi Magic viewers – and season 2 kicks things up a notch. Housewives returning from season 1 are TV presenter Nonkanyiso ‘LaConco’ Conco, actress Sorisha Naidoo, entrepreneur Nonku Williams and businesswoman Annie Mthembu.

New faces joining Real Housewives of Durban this season are singer Londie London, artist JoJo Robinson and reality star Thobile ‘MaKhumalo’ Mseleku, a familiar face to Channel 161 viewers from her turn on Uthando Nes’thembu. Entrepreneur Mabusi Seme returns as a friend, the favoured title for supporting cast members in the Real Housewives universe.

If you thought season 1 of Real Housewives of Durban was dramatic, wait until you dig into season 2. From an explosive Housewives’ holiday in Sun City to the mystery of a castmate’s secret romantic partner, the ladies are serving this season. As for the newcomers? They have no time to play coy – they deliver the drama from the get-go and are bound to keep viewers entertained… and talking.

The Real Housewives of Durban was recently internationally syndicated by Bravo, and it has been a hit with American audiences – from TikToks to trending topics, the women of Durban have shown that they have what it takes to rival their global counterparts. Yas, queens!

Don’t miss the return of The Real Housewives of Durban when season 2 starts on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) on Monday 19 December at 18:00. It’s going to be fabulously lit!
