Florence Masebe
She’s had roles in popular soapies like Generations,7de Laan, Rhythm City and eTV’s Scandal, but it’s her portrayal of Madam President in Mzansi Magic’s The Republic that really caught our eye last year.
Sindi Dlathu
Initially known for her role in Muvhango as Thandaza Mokoena, she left that show in 2018 and in 2019 (and 2020) played Lindiwe Dlamini on The River (1Magic).
Tsholofelo Matshaba
We’re honouring Tsholo as a nominee for a number of roles, including Tiny on Skwizas (SABC2), Odirile Kwena in The Throne (Mzansi Magic), and Kedibone on The River (1Magic).
Zola Nombona
She made her break in 2013 on SABC1’s Intersexions, but it’s more recent characters that earned her the nod: Monde in Lockdown (Mzansi Magic), Constable Brightness on eHostela (Mzansi Magic) and her supporting actor role in the film Love Lives Here in 2019.
