Seven seasons and counting, and Our Perfect Wedding is arguably amongst the biggest reality shows in Mzansi.

This Sunday, we hit the 200th episode mark and what better way to celebrate this milestone, than taking a short trip down memory lane?

The kiss that almost broke the Internet

A lot of people all over the world have tried to break the internet, with tactics ranging from pictures to videos. We had a close call, right here in Mzansi when Wesley and Faith sealed their union with a kiss that many will never forget in 2015. It was named “the kiss of the century.”

The fallen cake

Wedding day disasters and crises are quite common. We were all startled by the clumsy MC who knocked over Mpumi and Phumlani’s four-tier wedding cake.  Although Phumlani was livid at first, the Mpumi calmed him down, and they still had a beautiful wedding.

The secret to twins

Who could ever forget Lerato, the bride who let us in on the secret to conceiving twins!? A lot of women desire to have twins and Lerato insisted that creamed spinach was the surest way. Who are we to argue, after all she does have three sets of twins!

The runaway goat

Remember the goat that refused to be turned into the ancestor’s sacrifice and a great dish for the guests during Pinky and Mzokhona’s wedding? It literally made a runner, twice! However, the four-legged animal was eventually captured and the couple had their perfect wedding.

First lady spotting

It’s not every day that you get to see a First Lady at our wedding and who could ever forget seeing First Lady Sizakele Zuma at one of our weddings in October last year? The First Lady is actually the groom’s aunt and she gave a few words of encouragement, making the couple’s wedding extra special.

The Nation’s groom

Who could ever forget Moses? The groom who stole the hearts of many last month, naming him “the nation’s husband.” It was his loving, caring and supporting nature towards his wife, Khanyisile and her family that captured our hearts. His sense of style was a bonus!

It’s been an amazing journey. Share some of your favourite memories with us by leaving a comment below.
