Love is never a cut-and-paste thing. It's never a one size fits all, and there's no perfect love story. Love is not black and white, there's plenty grey. With Millicent and Lucas, the grey was just an accent to all the colour that is in their relationship. From a strange (slightly creepy) advance, a sweet wrapper proposal to a ceremony that coloured with trances and wonderful moments. This lovely couple kept us thoroughly entertained, and their love was a celebration for all to join in.
The bride was vibrant and vivacious, and her dance moves were testament to her joy.
The couple shared a secret language in the form of a song. We weren't let in as to why that particular song held special meaning for them, but it was cute just watching them express their love to each other in a way only they could understand.
Sundays at 19:00 belong to Our Perfect Wedding. Even world famous celebrities are made to understand.
Then there were the "wonderful moments" that may have confused most, but the couple themselves understood perfectly. The bride had an emotional trip down the aisle during which she slipped into a trance, and the groom got choked up during his vows, and had to be given a glass of water.
It was a fun, emotional, entertaining, celebratory episode of Our Perfect Wedding, and we also bid farewell to gracious presenter Aya Mpama, who's held the forte for thirteen amazing episodes. Farewell, Aya! You've been amazing.
